As the development of SobiPro is community-driven we carry out regularly polls to let our community decide which application will be developed next.
Each survey is available in the club zone and in the community board of our forum. In each survey, we present three applications of which one application can be selected. The results of the voting in the club zone have a higher priority. So as a club member you have the most influence on the development of SobiPro and its applications.

• Cloud Module - a Joomla! module to display most popular tags in a certain aggregation field.
• ContactForm Field - an universal field to create any kind of contact form. Could be used as a normal form to contact the entry owner, claim a listing or report inappropriate listings. It will be possible to define own fields within the form and define message template for each field.
• Multimedia Field - will allow to add a media files into the entry.

Poll IV (closed) - November 1, 2011

• SP-GeoMap Module (Google Map Module) - a Joomla! module to display a Google map with markers of entries with geo coordinates (GeoMap Field required) on it.
• Import/Export Application - Import and export entries and categories from/to a SobiPro section via CSV file. This won't be a Sobi2 migration tool, but it will be possible to import entries and categories from a Sobi2 CSV file.
• Search Module - I think it is quite obvious what it is.

The decision for the winning app was not easy this time as the results differ in Club and Community Boards. As there are already several 3rd party Search Modules and Plugins available for SobiPro, we decided to develop the winning app from the Club board, which is the SP-GeoMap Module.

Third Poll (closed) - August 25, 2011

• User Profile Field (User Registration and Listing Management) - An application which will allow to create a kind of members directory with a profile page. Visitor will be able to add an entry and at the same time a Joomla! user will be created. Probably, however we don't know if possible in the first version, it would be possible also to display entries from other sections created by the user in his profile.
  Of course this application could be also used just as a simple registration form inside the add entry form.
• Import/Export Application - Import and export entries and categories from/to a SobiPro section via CSV file. This won't be a Sobi2 migration tool, but it will be possible to import entries and categories from a Sobi2 CSV file.
• Search Module - I think it is quite obvious what it is.

• Advanced Review & Rating Application - Review application with multiple rating criteria. Similar to, for example eBay rating:

First Poll (closed) - April 13, 2011

• Aggregation/Tags field - It would be a field which will allow to add tags to an entry and aggregate in this way similar entries with each other. Additionally there will be a new listing view for entries tagged with a particular tag.
• Media field - Will allow to add an audio or video field to an entry and play it in the Details View and V-Card.
• CAPTCHA field - It would allow to secure the edit entry and/or add entry form with a CAPTCHA image to prevent bots generated entry. We are going to create this field because a lot of people complaining about the absence of this solution in Sobi2. Personally we doubt a bit about the sense of this as SobiPro is already secured with the Joomla! token and additionally the possibility to customize the entry form itself makes it almost impossible to create a reliable script for automated entries in SobiPro. But if the community is asking for it.
